After six years of consultation with Indigenous Peoples, environmental, social, and industry groups, the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Canada was ready to launch its National Forest Stewardship Standard.

The Standard is the cornerstone of all of FSC Canada’s work, outlining the requirements forest managers must follow to get certified…  by that, we mean it was a BIG deal.

We started by crafting foundational or key messages about the Standard, narrowed in on our audiences, and then built a communications strategy to bring it to life.

We developed and shared a broad array of bilingual communications materials including videos, interactive fact sheets, press and printed materials, key messages, shareable social media assets and more.

One year later, we wanted to celebrate by highlighting organizations that supported the creation of the new Standard and the foresters who brought it to life on the ground.

Working with high profile supporters including P&G, Greenpeace, and the first forest management company to be certified, Chantiers Chibougamau and Nordic Structures, we developed and shared the reasons why they believe in and support FSC.

“Daisley For Good was able to take a very complex topic and develop messaging and materials that resonated with our consumer and stakeholder audiences. They took things a step further to engage key partners to help amplify our news.”
