Cobs Bread for Breakfast Club of Canada

With 1 in 5 Canadian children are at risk of going to school on an empty stomach due to lack of access to nutritious food, COBS Bread partnered with Breakfast Club of Canada (BCC) in support of their mission to help ensure that as many Canadian children as possible have access to a nourishing meal before school.

At all 110 locations across Canada, COBS accepted donations for BCC and committed to donating $1 from each bread sale over the course of a fundraising weekend with a goal to raise $150,000.

Daisley Communications, alongside Next PR, developed a robust campaign to support this important goal. This included short lead media drops to top tier radio outlets, influencer engagement, the design and development of printed materials, media kits to support all bakeries’ efforts to engage local media, and outreach and coordination of TV segments. These five live segments featured on CTV News at Noon included interviews with bakery owners and a spokesperson from Breakfast Club of Canada.
